On December 7, 1996, the Convention concerning the Protection of the World Cultural and Natural Heritage of UNESCO, inscribed on its List the Historic Monuments Zone of Querétaro. This area is one of the Mexican jewels inscribed on the List, consequently the conservation and preservation of its authenticity and integrity is a commitment of the city and of all of its citizens.

The Global Philadelphia Association (GPA) developed and implemented World Heritage Education Programs, that aim to help cultivate Philadelphia’s youth into global citizens. This video was first produced as part of the Annual meeting of the Ibero-American Center for Strategic Urban Development that took place in Oaxaca, Mexico in May 2017.
