The Regional Secretariat for Northwest Europe and North America together with the host city Luxembourg has the honor to invite all our active members to its Regional Conference. We will meet 22-24 September 2025 under the central theme “Living Heritage: Designing Human-Centered Cities for the Future”.

Agenda:

On Monday 22nd, it is arrival day and getting to know the World Heritage City Luxembourg in different thematic tours. We will kick off our conference officially on Tuesday 23rd in the morning and get input from key speakers. We will work together for two days on the following three sub-topics:

• Short term: Human-Centred Design
• Long term: Heritage as a bearer of the future
• Medium term: Pop-up innovation labs

In three moderated working sessions, we will focus on thematic discussions and exchange. We invite you all to provide your experience from work on the ground and profit from practice examples and input from many different colleagues and cities.

Simultaneous translation in English and French will be offered throughout the conference!

Our Regional Meeting for member city representatives will be held Wednesday 24 at 16.00 – separate invitations were sent to all regional member cities and their Mayors.

Registration

Participation is free for all OWHC members in good standing. We invite also interested other cities and parties to join our conference and would charge a minimal fee.

For members of our Regional Secretariat, we can grant support for the accomodation costs of up to 300 Euros per city, please contact us if needed. Unfortunately, travel costs cannot be covered.
