A new edition of the very successful OWHC “Young Travelling Scholarship” for travel enthusiasts aged 18 to 28 has just been launched. The Regional Secretariat for Northwest Europe and North America invites young people in all our member cities to apply: Equipped with a travel budget of now even up to 1,500 euros, they can explore our World Heritage Cities in Europe and North America.

During the trip, the travelers report on their experiences in a blog and via social media. Creative ideas are still needed to document the travel experiences. A particular focus is on the question of how World Heritage can make the past tangible and link it to the future.

Interested parties can still apply for the travel grant until June 23, 2025 – also in teams of two. A letter of application written in English, a draft travel plan and a concept for an original travel documentary are required.
