An initial meeting was organised on the initiative of the City of Luxembourg between the OWHC and the EIB (European Investment Bank). Discussions quickly revealed promising areas of convergence between the EIB’s financing programmes and the OWHC’s heritage-based approach to habitability. It was agreed to work quickly to establish a Memorandum of Understanding between the EIB and the OWHC. The partnership with the EIB will enrich the development of the New Urban Project and provide considerable support for its implementation in the run-up to the next World Congress in Marrakesh.
