Dear OWHC members,

We are pleased to invite you to episode 6 of NUP Connect, the monthly event designed to inform, discuss and mobilize around the New Urban Project (NUP).

In this episode, we will look back at the experiences gained from the first CityLab in Cordoba and the first Focus Group in Krakow, which feed into our approach and methodology. We will also present our first experience of the NUP-Flash events organized in four Mexican cities, bringing them together around issues related to the habitability of their historic centers. Finally, we will present an overview of the second half of 2025, which will be entirely dedicated to collecting results via CityLabs and developing the New Urban Project via Focus Groups.

For this episode, we would like to draw your attention to an important point: we will be testing a new AI-assisted simultaneous interpretation tool called Kudo. The meeting will take place via videoconference directly on the Kudo platform, which works in a similar way to Zoom or Teams. When you log in to the platform, you will need to choose your speaking language. Once logged in, you will need to choose the language in which you wish to listen to the meeting and read the subtitles (which you can also turn off). At the beginning of NUP Connect, we will explain how the tool works and how to use its interface.

Each episode will inform you about the NPU’s progress and upcoming activities, and will be an opportunity to discuss your wishes, expectations, and questions.
