The first report of the Focus Group – Strategy, produced following the workshop held in Krakow on 11 and 12 June 2025, which involved representatives from the cities of Bordeaux, Colonia del Sacramento, Krakow, Luxembourg and Puebla (Cordoba Path programme), is now available.

This report is a new contribution to the development of the OWHC’s New Urban Project (NUP). The Focus Group – Strategy has the specific objective of clarifying the strategic approach of this NUP. It is coordinated by the Advisory Board: Luc Gagnon, Urban Planning and Mobility Consultant, and Yves Gendron, Deputy Director General of the Strasbourg Rhin supérieur Urban Planning Agency.

The case study of the Wesoła site in Krakow and the various approaches presented by the cities participating in the workshop made it possible to outline the structure of the future overall strategy for the NUP. The consideration of the Operational Objectives (adopted in Évora) in order to devise transversal strategies and develop indicators for monitoring habitability strengthens the links between the four Strategic Axes.

The results of this first workshop will feed directly into the Community of Practice and will be used in the next activities of the Cordoba Path.
