Get involved thanks to the NUP-Flash!

With a view to the 18th World Congress of the OWHC in Marrakech, scheduled for fall 2026, we are pleased to offer you a new initiative: NUP-Flash. This dynamic meeting format is specially designed to enable you to stay informed, mobilize your municipal teams, and actively prepare for the adoption of the New Urban Project (NUP).
What is an NUP-Flash? The NUP-Flash is a short, dynamic session (maximum half a day) led by a member of the General Secretariat and/or an OWHC expert-collaborator. Aimed at mayors, elected officials, and specialists in heritage, urban planning, environment, and mobility, the NPU-Flash is an excellent opportunity to discover the major advances made since 2022 within the Organization and to engage in the collective process of developing the NPU.
Why organize an NUP-Flash in your city?
- To understand the concrete and motivating objectives of the NUP and its benefits for your city.
- To quickly identify how your city can actively participate in this international initiative.
- To ultimately better face numerous challenges such as climate, economic and social crises by adopting new urban practices that integrate heritage, human and environmental concerns.
Typical format, adaptable: Each session includes a clear presentation of the NUP and a two-hour participatory workshop designed to align your local issues with the overall objectives of the initiative.
Our motto: “The train is moving, get on board!”
Don’t hesitate to request your NUP-Flash today by contacting the General Secretariat (secretariat@ovpm.org) and seize this unique opportunity to make your voice heard in this ambitious collective project.
Together, let’s mobilize for the regeneration of the habitability of our historic centers. Next stop: Marrakech 2026!
