On June 30, 2021, the Regional Secretariat for Eastern and Central Europe organized a second meeting of the working table on tourism.
14 participants from 8 OWHC member cities were discussing the problems that the tourism sector faced during the pandemic and ways to overcome these problems taking in account the specifics of local markets. The main intention of the meeting was to discuss different ways of Destination marketing and investment promotion during the COVID-19 pandemic.
This is the second meeting of the working table for tourism. The meeting was attended by representatives of Warsaw, Dubrovnik, Kutná Hora, Icherisheher, Rhodes, Kraków, Saint Petersburg and Banska Stiavnica. The leader of this group is Gulara Abdullayeva – Head of Tourism Department of “Icherisheher” Administration of State Historical-Architectural Reserve (Azerbaijan).
Meetings will be held regularly, and their effect will be the joint development of solutions, strengthening cooperation between cities, exchange of knowledge and implementation of joint projects.
