Call for projects and processes for the 14th World Congress of the OWHC

This call for candidacies is for elected municipal officials, managers and employees of Heritage and Cultural sectors of cities members of the OWHC network.

Through its World Congress, the Organization of World Heritage Cities (OWHC) aims to enhance achievements of its members, to create networking spaces and to allow learning via sharing experiences.

For the second time in four years, the OWHC launches in its entire network a call for projects and processes created by the OWHC’s cities.

Those projects should answer to the theme of the 14th World Congress « Heritage and Communities: Tools to engage local communities ».

We are looking for a large variety of tools and practices established by municipalities to engage local communities into the life of the urban heritage of their district.

The selected projects will be presented by their designers during the World Congress’ Scientific Day, on 1st November 2017, in Gyeongju, South Korea.

The persons who wish to participate have until 30th June 2017 to send their candidacy via the online form available on the OWHC website. You will find there the eligibility conditions and application procedure.

We are looking forward to receiving your proposal!
