Notice of the 26^th General Meeting of members in good standing of the OWHC | Virtual format – Tuesday, December 12, 2023

Madam Mayor, Mr. Mayor,
Madam/Mr. official representative of the mayor,

I am pleased to invite you to participate in the 26^th General Assembly of members in good standing of the Organization of World Heritage Cities (OWHC), to be held on Zoom on Tuesday, December 12, 2023. The meeting will begin at 8 a.m. Quebec time (2 p.m. Paris time, 10 p.m. Seoul time), and will last a maximum of one (1) hour.

The proposed agenda is as follows:

1. Adoption of 2022 financial statements (statutory)
2. Progress report of the 2023 OWHC action plan
3. Preparations for the 17^th World Congress in Cordoba
4. Budget 2024 (statutory)

In accordance with the General By-Laws, each member in good standing of the OWHC is entitled to one vote at a General Assembly – so please ensure that your city is a member in good standing before registering. The Member’s voting right is exercised by the Mayor or his elected representative from his municipality or in exceptional cases may be delegated by the Mayor to a non-elected representative from his municipal administration.

Each member city in good standing wishing to attend the General Assembly must confirm its attendance. To do so, please complete the following form no later than December 5, 2023:

The official representative will receive a personalized link to the Zoom platform no later than 1 week before the event, which cannot be shared with anyone else. Accompanying persons will receive a link as observers.
