Dear member cities,

We are pleased to invite you to participate in the pilot project Heritage Narratives. This action is part of the Cordoba Path and follows on from the Cordoba CityLab (June 9–10, 2025), which was dedicated to “Heritage Narratives and Urban Regeneration”.

You have until September 23, 2025 to express your interest in participating. A maximum of six cities will be selected to launch the pilot project on October 1, 2025. The actions will continue until the Marrakech Congress in the fall of 2026.

The selected pilot cities will contribute directly to the design of a practical tool to mobilize local actors and promote heritage narratives, whether official or unrecognized. The actions will build on existing or desired initiatives to develop citizen participation. The pilot cities will present their pilot project results at the Marrakech Congress.

Candidate cities must commit to appointing a coordinator-correspondent for the duration of the pilot project.
