The report of the CityLab “Heritage Narratives and Urban Regeneration”, organized in Cordoba on June 9 and 10, 2025, as part of the Cordoba Path program, is now available.
This CityLab explored the role of heritage communities and the narratives they carry as a strategic resource for responding to contemporary challenges. Based on exchanges between the cities of Cordoba, Marrakech, Riga and San Antonio, the report highlights issues related to the recognition of plural heritage, the mobilization of citizen narratives in urban projects, and the evolution of ways of living in and governing heritage cities.
The results of this CityLab will directly feed into the work of the Community of Practice and guide the next steps of the Cordoba Path program, particularly in the drafting of the reference framework and operational framework for the New Urban Project (NUP).
