Changes within the OWHC team

The General Secretariat would like to inform OWHC member cities of the following changes within its team:

Ms. Émilie Gourbin is leaving the OWHC to pursue her studies in Europe. She joined us in 2022 as an intern as part of her Master’s degree in Ethnology and Heritage at Laval University (Quebec). Subsequently hired as Urban Heritage Project Manager, Émilie has contributed greatly to the Organization’s activities. Émilie has decided to return to her studies and pursue a PhD.

In addition, Ms. Leticia Sanches is also leaving the OWHC for personal reasons after three and a half years of loyal service. Leticia has made a significant contribution to the daily operations and various programs of the Organization.

The General Secretariat wishes Émilie and Leticia the best of luck in their professional endeavors.

Finally, the General Secretariat is pleased to announce the hiring of Ms. Berenice Vidal Castelán as Urban Heritage Project Manager. Formerly site manager for the city of Puebla, Berenice is familiar with the OWHC, having worked closely with the Organization on the Québec Roadmap. Her experience and professional skills will enrich the team and provide valuable assistance in the implementation of the Québec Roadmap and the Cordoba Path, as well as in the preparation of the 18th OWHC World Congress in Marrakech.
