We are delighted to welcome Scottsdale as a new member city of the Organization of World Heritage Cities (OWHC). Nestled in the heart of the Arizona desert, Scottsdale is home to one of Frank Lloyd Wright’s eight 20th-century architectural works on the World Heritage List: the Taliesin West Building.
Scottsdale shines thanks to its thriving arts scene and unique architecture. Under the leadership of Mayor David Ortega, the city is committed to preserving its natural and cultural heritage.
We are proud to welcome Scottsdale as the third American city to join the OWHC. It is by joining forces that we continue to protect our World Heritage for sustainable urban development. We look forward to working with Scottsdale.
