Case Studies
The case studies contained on this page present to the public inspiring projects that have been carried out by cities with an urban heritage on their territory.
Under the city of Lyon’s initiative, these case studies have become indispensable references in terms of good practices in the management of the World Urban Heritage. Case studies drawn from presentations during OWHC World Congresses, as well as projects presented on the City2City platform and in other programs, are also regularly added to the list.
Among other things, you will find case studies about preservation techniques, innovation and enhancing, planning and development, reinforcing awareness and public communication. These projects can be used as examples or inspirations for your own management projects in urban heritage.
