The project called “ARCHAELOGY AND HERITAGE” is presented by the Regional Secretariat and drawn up by the Complutense University of Madrid. The aim of this project is exchanging experiences, finding solutions and undertaking joint instruments in order to facilitate the archaeological work in our cities, which are World Heritage.

With the aim of carrying out this interesting project, it has been set a first technical meeting to be held on 15 April 2009 in the city of Cordoba. The cities membres of the OWHC Regional Secretraiat for Southern and Mediterranean Europe interested in taking part in the project can send either an archaeologist or a technician that they deem appropriate.

This is a very significant meeting to develop the project because we are going to deal with both work issues and project contents. It will take place an interesting exchange of experiences and a study of the problems that every city has to face. All of this will be the basis of our next work.
